ABOUT US
Fight Club is a men’s discipleship resource developed by men, for men, to reach men- to turn the tide on mediocrity and cause men to stand and say “not on my watch!” You’ve decided that it is time to do whatever it takes to reach the men in your community. I've prayed for many years that a new discipleship ministry for men would be developed. This material has been tested first hand and has been proven to radically change men’s lives. It carries the flavor of what men desire: camaraderie, competition, and challenge. It will push your men to keep up and to reach new levels with Jesus. Not every man that starts will finish, as it contains a three-strike rule. Men will link arms in real accountability and will be able to spur one another on to good works. Men will grow intellectually, spiritually, physically and relationally. You will see immediate impact on the man daring to take this journey. This is not your typical discipleship packet. This resource is made for men, by men, to reach men. Don’t take this 10-week challenge unless you are ready for real gut-checking discipline. But once you do, you will be in for the ride of your life and your church will be revolutionized by it. If you get the man, you get the family. If you get the family, you get the community. If you get the community... you get the world. So get prepared for a new man emerging in your communities. We have had a great team of men working overtime to put this in your hands. We have prayed over every single package and asked God to blow your doors off! We believe God dropped this idea like a boulder from heaven.

WHY FIGHT CLUB
It’s no secret that the disappearance of the Man is a cultural epidemic, affecting our homes, schools, workplaces, churches, and communities. With increasing desperation, the Church is working to remedy this, but many of our churches, despite their best efforts, are still failing to reach men. That’s because many methods used by churches are missing these indispensable masculine ingredients:
CAMARADERIE. COMPETITION. CHALLENGE.
These things run in our blood. From boyhood, this is our native language. Every man intrinsically “gets” these and Fight Club employs these concepts to accomplish our mission to: AWAKEN Christian men from mediocrity, STRENGTHEN them emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually, RESURRECT true masculine community and MOBILIZE them for maximum impact in their families, churches and communities.

WHAT WE DO
Fight Club is a 10-week journey where men are required to complete weekly challenges within the context of community and accountability. A 3-strike rule applies to all challenges. These challenges change weekly and cover spiritual, relational, and physical assignments, along with Scripture memory and many opportunities to try something new, sometimes intimidating, sometimes just-for-fun.
As a precursor to any weekly assignments, men who join are asked to sign the Fight Club Creed and commit to living by the Fight Club Guidelines.
COMMUNITY
AKA camaraderie, is a core ingredient of Fight Club. The idea that “we’re in this together”, that there is a band of brothers supporting one another, is pure adrenaline in the veins of this ministry. In Fight Club, this is experienced in four main ways:
1) Large Group Gatherings
In the 10 week quarter, there will be 2 or 3 large group gatherings consisting of a kickoff, one or two mid-quarter gatherings, and a graduation.
2) Smaller Groups (Squadrons)
A Squadron is a group of 8-12 men with a Squadron leader. This is the forum where breakfast meetings or pick-up games are scheduled, where prayer requests are shared and where assignments are reported on. Leadership flows from the Senior Leader to Squadron leaders, who take responsibility for the health of their group. There is freedom for each squadron to look different, depending on the leader and the personalities comprising it.
3) Online (via Closed Band App Group)
With the pace of life, it’s hard to make face-to-face meetings happen, but it’s easy to interact online. This is a key component of the community of Fight Club. As members of a closed, invitation-only Band community, Fight Club men share requests, pray for and encourage each other, and keep updated on each other’s lives. Many assignments involve completing a task and posting a photo to the Fight Club Band group.
NOTE: This must be a CLOSED GROUP. Without privacy and confidence this will fail.
4) Accountability Groups
At the beginning of the 10 weeks, the first assignment is to form a group of 2 or 3 Fight Club men who will hold each other accountable on matters of purity and integrity and will provide close support within their groups.
